Welcome!

Welcome to the First Lutheran Church website. We hope this site will help you learn more about us and our witness for Christ. We strive to recognize and nurture the Christ in ourselves and each person that we encounter along the way. Our church is a thriving community of believers, and lovers of the word of God. First Lutheran has a long tradition of outreach and service to its members and the community. We hope you will join us for service on Sunday to experience for yourself the fellowship of Christ.

Farewell and God bless!

IMG 2280

The worship services on April 26 marked Pastor David Blank's final Sunday at First Lutheran.  He was presented with a cross and a gift from First, St. John's Pleasant Twp., and Bethany, Sheffield.  A farewell reception was held following the 11:00am service.  Pastor Dave began his tenure at First Lutheran on May 14, 2006 and officially concludes his call in Warren County on May 14, 2015.

Pastor Dave writes, "We are thankful for the past nine years journey with the folks at First Lutheran and more recently with the members of St. John's Warren and Bethany, Sheffield. Sunday, April 26 was bittersweet celebrating a ministry that intersected with so many lives, loving, laughing, crying and then saying goodbye. My heart is filled with gratitude and many blessings as shepherd of the Lord's people. May God bless you all and it is not goodbye but until we meet again!"
